The World has been severely hit by COVID-19 and most of the sectors have been affected globally. It has, therefore, come to our attention that the Agricultural sector is a ‘real economy’ that will continue, thriving regardless of any conditions. Currently, individuals, households, families, communities, and governments across the world are struggling to feed their populations. AGRIBANKS believes that this problem is attributed to the fact that agriculture is left for villagers, who practice subsistence farming.
As the world’s population continues to increase, the demand for food will also continue to increase, with the poorest communities fighting against impossible odds for their livelihood. As a result, this requires urgent interventions and collaborations from government and international development agencies to join efforts and resources to achieve the SDGs 1, 2, 3, and other specific SDGs goals.
